Dr. Ailsa Pla Novo is a young professional general dentist with a primary mission of examining,
diagnosing, and treating oral diseases. She has performed preventive care and oral health care
for over 10 years.
Dr. Pla Novo attended The University of Medical Sciences of Havana, Faculty of Dentistry, in
Havana City, Cuba, where she graduate with golden diploma as a General Dentist in July, 2014.
In the same year she had the opportunity to migrate to USA with her family. She located in
Miami, Florida and since she arrived she was determined to continue her journey in the dental
field. She completed the National Dental Boards Examination in 2019. She was accepted in the
Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at Larkin Community Hospital, where she
completed two years residency, graduating as a General Dentist in August, 2022. After
graduation Dr. Pla Novo moved to Broward County to work in private practice. She is also a
member of the ADA, FDAPAC and SFDDA since 2022.
At this moment Dr. Pla Novo has been working full time as an associate in The Dental Place of
Tamarac since September, 2022. In here she specialize on preventive and restorative dentistry
like fillings, inlays, onlays, crown, bridges, root canals, teeth extractions, dentures, among
others. Her goal is to restore patients confidence by bringing their smile back. She keeps up to
date with the latest developments in dentistry. She is very passionate and truly enjoys her work
and helping others.
